Arrival Story:
Well, you see it was like this. Once upon a time I had the wonder-lust. I can't remember how long I was on my own, but some people found me and took me to a place with lots of other dogs and cats and rabbits. I was plenty scared, as I didn't take too well to being penned up. So this one day a girl comes to see me. She's real nice, her name is Jamie, and tells her friend "this is the perfect dog for my mom!". I didn't want Jamie to leave, I had such a good feeling about her, and I was real sad when she left without me. But the next day, she came back with our mom. I knew they were the right family for me - there was a lot of love and warmth there, and calm. I do well with calm. Well, I sure wasn't happy that they didn't take me home with them right then, but because I was "all boy", they needed to change that. Not that they turned me into a girl or anything, but they took out a part of me that caused me to like to roam and travel. I was at my new home with my forever mom for three days when my new dad came home from a flying trip (he's a pilot!). Well, heck, I didn't know who this person was, so I started barking up a storm! I was really nervous that someone was there who wasn't suppose to be, but we got all that straightened out fairly quickly. Now when I get the wonder lust, I just go fly with dad in one of the airplanes he flies. I perk right up during the take-offs and landings, but mostly I just sleep like when we ride in the car.
