Arrival Story:
My husband works for our local township. He was down the township yard when the dog catcher brought her in. She had been running loose, apparently dumped by her previous owner. My husband immediately fell in love with her. She lived with his parents until our house was ready. Now, we live in her house.

Bio:
Midnight had a rough start to her life. When we first brought her home, she was afraid of everything. We could not even try to pet her head without her cowering. We just kept doing it and showing her that it was now a good thing, and she loves it. Everyone who meets Midnight loves her. There is a woman in our neighborhood who carries treats with her when she walks, so of course she is one of Midnight's favorite people. Midnight also has a boy she flirts with, an adorable Border Collie named Sarge. Midnight recently got a new cousin, also a Border Collie. Her name is Vixen, and the two love to play together.

You know, I just don't get what all this is about. Mommy and Daddy love baseball, but I just don't know why anyone would want to get rid of the ball with that stick thing. Mommy and Daddy have been keeping me up late at night watching these silly games - it would be more fun to watch ME catch the ball!

Where is my Super Bowl?

All my mommy and daddy keep talking about is this Super Bowl. I want one of those, I bet it would hold a lot of food and water. Well, if the Eagles can have one, why can't I? I guess I will wait until Sunday when we go to mom-mom's house for the Super Bowl party!

Scary Night

This was a night I was very thankful that my pet parents always keep me in my mind when making their plans. It was that December 31 holiday that reminds me that people and dogs are similar. Everyone goes to this place to watch the BIGGEST tennis ball in the world drop. I am lucky that my parents were home with me when it was the hour named after me. All these loud fireworks were going off and that scares me. I was shaking and my parents just sat with me on the floor and hugged me until the noise was over. I love my mommy and daddy! :)
