Arrival Story:
During my second year of university, my boyfriend at the time was looking to adopt a dog. I knew I shouldn't take on the responsibility of being a dog owner since my career would entail extensive traveling of the world. However, as we were looking for dogs we came across Zeke. My boyfriend disliked his strangely stubby tail and moved on... But I fell in love with him -- untrained, unhousebroken, overly energetic Zeke. I adopted him two weeks later, after much deliberation, and he has been my best friend since.
Bio:
He was one year old when he came home with me. A year later Zeke was properly trained, and most recently is a pro at the heel command... Which is something difficult for high-energy dogs to master. Zeke has since accompanied me across Canada several times, had brief stints living in the wilderness while treeplanting for months on end, and is now living the comfortable life while I finish my studies.
