Birthday: February 1st 2005 Arrival Story: Biloxi has arrived at CBR-East! He was retired from biomedical research studies in which he was infrequently used for non-toxic drug testing. This is very common, and we have adopted out many dogs who have been used in this way and gone on to wonderful retirements as loving pets! There are no expected side effects to this type of testing. Bio: Biloxi is an adorable beagle. He seems to be more on the mellow side, and just wants to be near someone. We are told that he has a bit of a "nervous tummy" so we will keep an eye on him while he is with us. He is currently on a prescription food, but we will try to wean him from that. He seems to get along with other dogs, and is very interested in every person he has come across. Biloxi will need a patient adopter willing to work on his housetraining.
Update: Biloxi is as wonderful as a dog can be! He is playful and loves nylabones, but loves to relax just as much! He is cratetrained and housetrained to a schedule. We have weaned Biloxi from his Rx dog food, and he is eating regular dog food without any problems. He may have a setback in a new home and have some tummy issues, but it will surely resolve in a week or so once he settles in. Bilioxi is great with other dogs, but does not necessarily need another dog in the home. He has not been cat-tested. He is a wonderful little boy who needs a forever home! I've Been On Dogster Since:
