Today should be a really fun day for me! I am going bike riding with Mom. She put a big basket on the rear of her bike so that I don't get motion sick from being in front. The front one moved with the handle bars and made me RALPH now and then. Mom saw what the problem was and got this big basket so I can ride along and sit, stand or stretch out if I want. I am ready to try it.

The past couple days, I have been almost hyperactive and I think it is from the cooler weather. Mom says she can't stand the cold and if this is how I would be for a whole winter, she would have to give me doggie downers. I am usually only active for short spells, but now it has been about 3 or 4 days and nights straight that I want to play, play, play and then play.

I love weekends because Mom is less stressed with studying and we get more together time. I hope I get to go for another car ride sometime soon. It has been a while. I enjoy going and doing the same as any other red-blooded American!

Mom went out last night and came back stinking of cigarette smoke. She couldn't go to bed until she showered and washed her hair. She gets really sick when she is around smoke, so I hope that doesn't happen this time! She put her clothes all together so they can be washed quickly and keep that stench from being in the house. Thanks Mom!

It was Rosie and Louie's Mom's birthday yesterday. Mom talked to her this morning and she enjoyed her birthday. Mom put a sign up at school and lots of people wished her Happy Birthday. Sharron (Rosie and Louie's Mom) enjoyed that too.

It is too cold to go to the beach, but I look forward to going there and playing fetch again soon. I love getting in the water and bringing things back. I will do it to exhaustion.

Okay, I need to go and make sure Tessa is behaving. Mom rents from Tessa's Mom, so we get to play all day while they are away. It is nice to have company and Mom is so proud that we protect the house and keep all the charging elephants away. Not once has she come home and had to clean up after elephants. Tessa and I do what we can to keep the place free of elephants. They are such a huge problem here in South Florida!

Daisy had her bath. We started out with a flea control shampoo. She's been having trouble fending off the little buggers lately. So, tonight we will put her Advantage on her too. Seldom ends up the first of the month, but this time it worked out that way!

She needs a haircut, but no worse than I do. We look like a matched set, both needing our hair trimmed at teh very least.

I am going to crochet as she naps for now. We are both awaiting Ruben's phone call. She will rest up so she can wake me at 3 or 4 am for her middle of the night potty run. Ruben says he will put in a doggie door. AH! That will be heaven!

So, for now, Daisy is having a relaxing time. It is a little cold to go bike riding. I thought we might, but it's too cold! Yep, she and I are both wimps!
