Arrival Story: My little Pacey girl started getting a little sick with a cough, then she started coughing all the time and would cough so hard it would make her throw up. I took her to the vet and the vet said that she had the doggie version of acid reflux that was causing her trachea to collapse. I totally freaked out b/c I had that happen with Pepper and it caused her so much pain in the end. Luckily the vet said that Pacey's trachea should go back to normal with meds (which it has) and with a little less stress. I asked the vet, stress? She is walked daily, fed with high quality food and has regular play dates with my brother's dog and others. The vet said that since she is so well socialized she could be bored during the day and could very well be in need of a companion; so my vet actually suggested a companion for Pacey. And well, since the vet suggested it for the health of my dear baby Pacey, here Buddy is. We love him dearly and it he is the best addition we could have made to our little pack.
