Arrival Story:

Bio:
When I first meet Diamond she was about four months old, she was this skinny frail little dog that was scared of everyone including me at the time. She was extremely skittish. At that time, I was babysitting a neighbor's dog, which she was pit bull mix, and this dog was and still is a good friend. This dog that I babysat loved me more than her own masters. Then a babysat another pure breed pit bull, he loved me, too. Before I babysat these wonderful dogs, I was scared of them due to the bad reports I have heard and hearsay. The second time I saw Diamond I gave her a piece of meat, which is the quickest way to a dog's heart is through the stomach, and slowly made a friend. However, the owners of diamond was looking for a possible home for her and they saw me with her playing around and ask me that if I would take her. I said maybe due to my living situation, I lived at a place that the landlord said “NO DOGS ALLOWED"; however, she allowed dog twice in the building. I even had to be real cautious and not to get caught with the dogs I babysat which I still got caught with them. Then, a trip over the Christmas holidays down to Texas, which I got a truck for a present. Since, I had a truck I took the dogs I babysat to the beach, park or just took a drive and stayed away from the place they are not allowed that bought me some time which was short lived. During this time, I had seen diamond off and on for about 4 months. On my birthday since the neighbors with the dog moved away and I was lonely and crushed, I wish for my own dog. Two days later I receive a call to see if I still want Diamond and breaking some rules I adopted her; it's more like she adopted me. I forced to move out, which I already plan to find a home for Diamond, and me without giving me a chance to start paperwork or find a place even with a doctor's note. Now. I was homeless and we live out of my truck and staying with friends for about three months or so. I even had a job and lost it during that time. However, there was Diamond keeping my spirit up through the hard times and the good. Afterward I found a home the fits our needs. A landlord that would accepts a dog and a fenced in yard.
