Arrival Story: Toya is a spunky little sweet pea Shepherd/Lab puppy who enjoys chewing on toys, both soft ones as well as nylabones & deer antlers. She loves to play with toys, doggies, and people alike. The puppy love this little one gives off will melt your heart.
Toya and her siblings were rescued off the streets of Nashville when they were about 7 weeks old. They had been born to a stray lab mix and were reportedly running in and out of traffic. Sad to say that there were probably more pups in this litter that did not get so lucky as these three who checked into Camp Chaos a few weeks before Christmas.
The puppies have undergone a remarkable transformation in a few short weeks and have learned to love people, other dogs, treats & attention. They are a little shy with new people and situations initially but quickly bond to any human caregivers and other dogs.
Toya is a spirited extrovert and most resembles the lab looks of the mama. She's super smart, too. She already knows how to sit, plus she knows how to sit and wait for her food bowl at breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Toya is an indoor dog with outdoor privileges, as are all of the Camp Chaos 37206 dogs. He is adoptable for $150 adoption fee. We will transport but adopter must pay transport fee, please.

Bio: Her housetraining is going great. She uses a puppy pad at night when it's just too long for her to wait, but she doesn't have accidents during the day when she can be let outside every 4-5 hours. She is spayed, current on vaccinations, wormer, flea/tick protection, and heartworm preventative.

I get to come back to Camp Chaos for a sleepover this week. I will get to see my brother Lincoln, too! That will be exciting. I quite enjoy playing with him, especially since I always end up with the upper hand. Our sister Tinkerbell was adopted last weekend and has her very own furever family and a brother, too. Her new name is Ellie Mae. I guess she just can't get away from the 2-name gig.
When I'm at my foster buddies' home, they call me Miss LaToya, or Miss Jackson. They think it's cute and fitting, and I am quite cute. This week they're getting a new bathroom. Daddy Aaron has huge allergies, so their old bathroom is getting torn apart so they can get a new one. Mommy Jenny thinks it's a disaster, both the old bathroom and the process of getting the new one. Most people feel the same about renovations, I've been told. I know Big Mama told Mommy Jenny she hated renovations, too. It's a big word, but I can't hate it. It's kind of fun to say...'renovations.'
I also enjoy saying things that come out sounding like a 'woof' or a 'bark.' Lincoln and I both enjoy speaking. We have great little puppy barks that are going to be really groovy when we're adults. They'll be deep enough to not hurt people's eardrums, and loud enough to scare away any bad man who might peep in our furever families' windows.
Right after we bark like crazy, we'll run and hide under the covers with our very own humans! That will be fun someday.
