Like her brother Bill they love long walks, which is typical of their breed, particulary in the Lake District in the North of England. We try to go to the Lakes two or three times a year, and take them onm long walks around the high Fells. 10 mile walks over the Fells are particularly enjoyed by both man & dog

Well I noticed my brother' Bill has got in on the act before me, well I'm actually top dog in this abode, just in case you didn't know that fact. I'm usually esconsed on the armchair by the window, my owner refers to it as my perch, I survey all before me and of course protect the houshold from any potential intruders, they all look a bit suspicious if you ask me, so I often give a growl or bark just be on the safe side, you can never tell, that's what I say. He may only be an old man next door, but I'm sure he's a potential intruder OK he may have fixed our fence for us, but thats no excuse to be nice to him! The school boy who goes past every morning, I'm convinced he's casing the joint, so he gets a regular bark & growl. The worst culprit of course is my mums son, he put a washing basket on his head once, and I've never forgiven him for that. I niped his trouser when he came in once, it works for sheep so I think he's got the message now not to mess with me! Like Bill I go with my master to the park in the morning at 07:45, and its rather dark at the moment. I do a fair impression of intense excitibiulity prior to going I think it makes them happy, and I suspect it gets us out the house a darn site quicker! Well would you like a slobbering, licking, pawing animal at you in the morning, well thats enough about your spouse! any way, I have a lovely time in the park thankyou. Must get back to my perch see you soon Woof Woof Woof.....man next door!!!
