Favorite Food: My dinner consists of dog food, beef broth, and puppy milk, but a good paper towle will do. Favorite Walk: I like walking in the pasaoe because I get to go off leash. Best Tricks: I can speak, jump, "high 5", and play dead Arrival Story: we were in the mall and we were looking aroung in the pet store when we saw this puppy we saw 2 weeks ago. we felt really bad because he was in a small cage by himself and was only sleeping, so we asked the people who worked there if we could play with him a little and we instantly fell in love! Although we think he came from a puppy mill we are so glade we got him! Bio: Charlie is so silly and goofy. That's why we named him Charley, it's such a goofy name! We also have a rabbit named Frodo. Charlie like to bat him with his paw but Frodo has none of it and nips him on the paw when he does. He loves going to the dog park and playing with all the other dogs. We got charlie shaved toady and bot does he look different!! he looks just like a poodle, without the puffy parts. his ears are long and soft, to me they look just like flat cow bells, if a caw bell could be flat . . . anywas his long golden locks are gone but I think he looks adorable!! his fur is about an inch long, it sounds longish but is acually really short! his tail isn't like the rest of him, its flowy sort of. the fur there is longer, it looks like a golden retrever's tail. his fave especially looks poodle like. now I can really see that he inherited the golden retrever body because at first he looked fat but I can still feell all his ribs so its not that. I don't think charlie enjoys his new look much, I think he's cold? he looks sad because all he's doing is sleeping on the chair, and thats not lickly for him! it might just be because we gave him a tranclilizer pill before because if we don't do that before he goes to the groomer he gets all sacred and figitty and they can't cut his face right. the main poin of cutting him was for his face, the hair by his eyes get so long that he has trouble seeing. hope he gets his energy back, oh he doesn't have his cone any more, that went just fine! I will right what happened there later, bye bye!!
I don't know if you have seen that or read the book (the book was better!) but remember the part where he saw the poodle and ran over WITH THE TABLE! well guess what charlie did! so we were eating lunch at this mexaicain place and I had tied charlie to my charlie but he was pulling my all over the place! my dad, who was eating lunch with us, put the lunch on the table and went back in to get some gwacamolie (haha I can't spell that but its the green stuff you eat with chips) and while he was gone I decided to untie his from my chaire to the table, BIG MISTAKE! so as soon as I tied him he saw some people, and if you know charlie, he has to be friends with EVERYONE! so as soon as he saw then he took off running!! I tried to stop him but it was too late, the food was all over the floor and he was dragging the table with him to those poor people. When my dad got back he was furious whith that darn dog!! but after acouple of hours later (after picking up the table, the food, and saying sorry to the people) we laughed about it.
So Charlie got "the cone" toady. He looks so sad!! he wont move at all and I have to carry him places, and believe me! that is not easy! He wont move because he is afraid of hitting something. he is also whimpering and I don't know whats wrong! It might be his surgery pain or because he can't bite it or he is just scared. either way I am very sad. I want to help him and I am lying here next to him petting the poor thing. it will get better though, that's what I was told. right now he is sleeping on the couch, that's good because I think he is dreaming about chasing bunnies :) I will update again and tell u of is progress.
