It will be a year tomorrow since I passed to the Bridge. The last thing my mom does every night, before shutting down the computer, is scratch my nose on her desktop and tell me goodnight.
I came from a puppy mill...and I lived a hard life, but in the end, I lived a loving andblessed life. While I passed way too early, at the age of 4, due to the abuse and neglect at the puppy mill, I also found a love with my mom that knew no bounds. I was one of the lucky ones.
My hope for every pup, and for every animal, is that they all feel the love, and find the companionship, that I found with my mom. My prayer is that one day there will be no more puppy mills, and no more precious lifes cut short, like mine, because of the life that exists within the mills.
I am sending you all rainbows from the bridge to color your lifes with love.

Have you all met Snappy? He is such an awesome dog and had a hard life like mine. He was also a puppy mill dog and is now one of the angels up here with me, watching over all of you. He spent 7 years in a puppy mill. I just can't imagine. I only spent 1 year at a similar place, and I don't think any animal should even spend one day in such a place, much less 7 years. He was fortunate, like me, and got out and found a very loving father who taught him how to love and trust a human being. I'm telling you, it's not easy learning to trust after everything you go through in one of those places. But you know what, he just honored me by giving me a rosette. We are, indeed, kindred spirits. Thank you Snappy for thinking of me.
Until next time, we are sending you more rainbows to bring smiles to the people who cared enough to rescue us, and be patient enough to teach us to love.

Thank you Becky for the lovely rosette. If it's okay with you, I would like to accept it on behalf of all of the other rescue dogs who are up here on Rainbow Bridge with me. We all love flowers, both to give and to receive, and it is such an honor for me to have the rosette from you to share with all of my friends up here. Have a rainbow filled day!
