Arrival Story:
Beau was rescued by members of the animal welfare society and I took him to foster till I could find him a home or get in him the german shepherd rescue I volunteered for. Well as it should have been expected, I could not give him up and adopted him myself.

Bio:
Beau was abused by his former owners who even broke his front leg. He was a mess when I first got him and was scared of anything that resembled a stick. It took a good year of lots of love and care before he was relaxed and acting like a normal dog. He is a totally different dog from then but is still very protective of me and his property. He is fine with his sister Abby and his brother Murray but not good with all dogs. Loves people if I introduce them to him first, other wise he thinks they don't belong and need to leave. He is very well behaved other than those little issues. He had to have back surgery in 2006 and has done really well since then. He is a tough guy and he is a survivor. Even though he is a German Shepherd/Border Collie mix, he acts like a German Shepherd completely. No Border Collie traits seem to show other than in his looks.
