Sun Sign: Quick Bio:
 Birthday: February 22nd 1994
Likes: tennis balls, playing catch, cookies, the ladies, his girlfriend Maddi, going to the park, bones, going for walks, strawberry ice cream, slurpees, mcdonalds fries, being cute

Pet-Peeves: being ignored, if you wait to0 long to throw his ball, if you take too long putting his leash on, if the car ride is too long, being bored... he's rather impatient.

Favorite Toy: tennis ball

Favorite Food: strawberry ice cream

Favorite Walk: the field to play catch

Best Tricks: He's an amazing retrieving dog. He will catch the ball no matter how hard you try to throw him off, at any speed or any height. And no matter how hard you try to hide when he brings it back, he will find you and drop the ball at your feet. Very determined

Arrival Story: Ollie was given to me as a gift from my uncle when he was just 6 weeks old. My uncle named him Oliver because when he got him, he was the only pup watching TV...and the TV was playing Oliver Twist. He's been my buddy ever since.

Bio: My love for Ollie is hard to describe. Whenever we walk together, I feel proud to be in his company and showing him off ... People flock to him. They can't seem to pass him without making a comment on how beautiful or cute he is. He makes an impact on everyone he meets and he's definitely one dog I'll never forget. =)

Oliver died on June 6th, 2007. He was healthy and full of energy up until the very end. He passed in his sleep, in his favorite spot in the yard. It was a pretty summer day and Ollie wanted to go outside and chill so I let him out and went back to whatever I was doing. He'd usually bark when he wanted to come back in, so I wouldn't really check on him regularly or anything. Therefore, it was easy to forget he was out there a lot of the time.
After a long time though, I remembered he was still outside and I had to leave the house to go somewhere so I went to call him in. I saw him asleep in his favorite spot and called his name but got no response. After a couple more calls, I stepped outside and walked over to where he lay and realized he was dead. He looked very peaceful, like this is how he wanted it to happen, and for some reason, I didn't feel all that upset. I took off his collar, kissed him on the nose one last time and went inside to call my mother at work.
I knew I was going to miss Ollie, but I felt selfish for mourning him. He had given me some amazing years and fun memories and we'd reached the end of our story together. He was the closest thing to canine perfection I'd ever encountered and I feel lucky to have spent so much of my life with him.
