Arrival Story:
I am fostering-to-adopt Bella through the Grayson County Humane Society in Leitchfield, Kentucky. She was found as a stray by a gentleman who wanted to keep her, but his landlord nixed the idea. So, she was turned into the humane society. I found her on petfinder, and couldn't look away. She came to live with me, Zeppelin and Dixie on January 24th.

Bio:
We don't know when Bella's birthday is. The shelter estimated her at about a year old. I can't see how she's more than 8 or 10 months. We've decided that since we don't know the actual birthdays for any of our dogs, we're going to celebrate their re-birthdays on the days they came to live with us...Bella's being January 24th.

Someone took Bella.

Bella disappeared from my parents home in Myrtle, Missouri on Monday, August 24th 2009. We believe she was taken; all 5 other dogs were present. Bella and Ike, one of the other dogs, were attached at the hip and if she's simply wandered off, he'd have been with her. We found no evidence of her having been hit by a car or anything; the area was thoroughly searched. We've run newspaper ads, radio ads, put up fliers, offered a reward...but we've heard nothing. I miss Bella terribly, and am still holding out hope that someday I'll find out what happened to her.
