Quick Bio:

Birthday:

Likes:
I love my family. I love to go outside, play, chase things, go outside, play, ZOOM, go outside, play, look out the front window (I'd rather be outside), and answer the door bell.

Pet-Peeves:
Doorbells, cats, and the broom (it takes away all the good stuff to eat off of the floor!).

Favorite Toy:
I love my bean bag ball! I mean, I really, really love it! Toss it to me, will ya, huh? huh? Please? (Yes, I know that begging is unbecoming to a Princess, but when it comes to my bean bag ball, I can't help myself).

Favorite Food:
Cheese, chicken, raw vegies, dog cookies, and pasta. Did I mention cheese?

Favorite Walk:
Around our neighborhood (aka my kingdom).

Best Tricks:
I don't "do" tricks; however, I will give a "High 5" and roll-over for cheese. I also know: sit, stay, wait, down, and leave it. I'm a very smart doggie.

Arrival Story:
Being the royal and intelligent doggie that I am, I wisely chose my family when they came to see me and my siblings at the breeder. Humans are sweet but they can be dumb as stumps, so I had to keep planting myself in their laps so that it was very clear to them that I had deemed them worthy to take me home. They finally caught on and brought me home one week later, on December 1, 2003, at the age of 8 weeks. I adore my family, and I am very protective of them.

Bio:
PAPILLON In the shimmering, misty morning light, From nowhere you dart into my sight. Bubbly, bounding, bouncy flight-- With shining wings and colors bright. Now I know just what I'll do. I'll set a special trap for you. I'll tempt you with a honey jar-- You'll never ever see the bar. And I'll keep you for my very own, pretty, pristine Papillon. Man's best friend in miniature, You are a lovely one for sure. With flying ears and dancing feet, Tiny body with face petite. So I know just what I'll do. I'll set a special trap for you. I'll tempt you with a doggie bone, Build a little house for you alone, And keep you for my very own, loving, prancing, Papillon.

Babysitting

I have been quite the busy princess this summer. Too busy, in fact, to keep my diary properly up-to-date. Let me just say that I have had the loveliest of summers, with most of my days spent lying in the sun and chasing away those pesky cats and stubborn birds.

I did give up some of my leisure time, however, to babysit a puppy beagle. Shamus was quite the cute little nipper, and smart, too. He followed me around the house and yard quite obediently and with the proper respect that one should always show to a princess. I taught him how to beg (although princesses NEVER beg, one should know how). He was also quite good at following the leader and playing chase.

Unfortunately, Shamus has grown too large for me to play with and is a bit too rambunctious for me; however, I know that he shall always cherish the time that we had together, and will always show the respect that is due my royalness.

Fly Girl

Today being the 4th of July, my family and I are spending quite a bit of time outside and we are having a BBQ! Yumminess and fun rolled into one! I'm there!

And, since even on the 4th of July a princess can not neglect her duties, I am on Bug Patrol. There seems to be an abundance of those annoying, flying, buzz -bombers known as flies around today. Now, technically, flies do not count as bugs, but since I do not wish to discriminate against any insect, any fly that comes into my line of sight is considered fair game.

My mom protests whenever I munch one (she obviously has no idea of what tastes good). You would think she'd at least express appreciation that I am keeping their population down!

OH well, she let me have some BBQ chicken. Maybe she does appreciate my hard work afterall.
