WOOF its been a crazy year!

hi Furiends!
WOW its been a long time since i wrote and updates this thing but mom says its okay because I have been so busy! SO, in october 09 i moved again... so that makes 3 places I have lived since I came home with mommy!! I like to see all these diffrent places but I think mommy is tired of moving all her stuff! Anyway, we moved in with a man, i call him dad now, but at first I just thought he was an odd looking dog. He wastaller than me, but he was a really good wrestler so i just loved to play with him, but I wouldnt listen when he told me to do something! (i only listen to mommy....ok, so most of the time i listen).... but turns out, hes human.. and hes adopted me as his pup, so I really really like him now!! Since we moved to this new place i have a really huge yard amd I chaes deer all the time. The guy that lives close to us has cows too and ohhh man they are so fun to bark at.. i dont really know why they never move when I back at them, so i just keep barking.. I figure one day they will get scared, right?
Annnyway, i have Health news - I have what the humans are calling Addisons Disease... all i know is i was really sick and felt really bad. I couldnt eat and I only weighed 60 pounds at 10 and 11 months old! (and my sister weighed 100) I was really skinny and my hair was not growing. The vet made me take all kinds of tests and finally they figured out that it was that Addisons thingy. I take Prednasone everyday and it makes me feel alot better. Since i got the diagnosis in November, i have gained 25 pounds and when I get a scrape or a cut, it actually heals. And man, I am hungry again. Mommy is so happy that I am eating again that she gives me special treats sometimes!
Also, i got a brother for Christmas this year. His name is Moose and hes freakin ANNOYING most of the time. I cant really decide if I like him totally or not. I really really love having someone to play with all the time, but man, if Im sleeping, he thinks he is supposed to sleep right on top of ME!! hello!! not cool. And he follows me everywhere. no more time to myself. Sometimes in the middle of the night, i sneak out of mom and dads bed, just to go lay on the couch so I can my alone time. I love laying on mommys legs, but on the couch I can sprawl out as much as i want. So, all in all Moose is okay....i guuuuess.... okay, okay, hes pretty cool.
its been a good year, and i will puppy promise to keep this updated better!!

the new crib

WOOF friends!! I am now ten weeks old, and can get myself up on the couch!! thank goodness!! finally! I LOVE my moms new couch, its soft and snuggly and warm and did I mention its ALL mine...(thats not what mom says..she says "share the couch" blah blah blah...) My mom moved into a new house about two weeks ago, and me and my cat brother and sister are settling in great! We have a huge backyard to play in, but I would rather be sleeping on the couch!! I can get up alllll by myself (thank you, thank you) but there is something about jumping off of it that scares the crap out of me!! I dont know, its like a huge drop off!! Seriously furiends...its scary! I stand there and bark and my mom until she plants me solidly on the ground. At least she is nice enough to move me. :) But, I do love my new house, its really fun to slide across the hallway (hardwood floors) chasing after the cats...mom says its kinda like bowling...i dont know what that is...but i chase the cats, and they try to turn the corner and slide into the wall, then i go after them and slide into them AND the wall. BOL! I have been up for abour 10 minutes, so I am already tired again. I better get back to my nap on the couch. Licks, Khuno

Feeling Better

Hi everyone. I just wanted to say YIPPEE!! I am feeling way woofy better and I learned to drink water a little slower. My mom is so proud of me. She gave me this green octopus yesterday and ohhhhh man is it awesome. Its like as big as I am (for now) and its got a million legs and it queeks and rattles and its awesome! did I say awesome! because thats what it is!! AND the sun came out yesterday FINALLY!! It was so fun to go outside and play in the sun with all the big dogs!! My mom is also really proud of me because me and Kakao (my sister) learned how to climb the stairs today, I am still having trouble going down, but climbing them is way easy!! Freezing and Sick

Hi furiends! The past few days here in Paron, AR its been freeeeezing and raining and icing!! I am so tired of it because it makes me shiver uncontrollably and i get all wet when i have to go outside to potty (which is like every 30 minutes!) My mom gets to put on a a jacket and a hat and gloves and i get all wet! But, she does put me in her coat to go out and in, so at least i stay a little warm when I'm close to her! The ice is not fun either pups! Its slippy and the ice puddles make my paws all wet and cold. Mom said its supposed to stop raining and dry up a little today - thank goodness!!
Last night I got sick a few times...i did not feel really good all day, but i threw up 3 times before I fell asleep and then this morning I threw up again. Mommy told me not to eat so fast and drink so much water...but its hard to remember. I think if i remember to slow down i will be okay.

My New Home

Woof Everyone!! First off, thanks so much for the warm welcome to Dogster!! I think I'm gonna like this place!! So this is my third day at my new home and let me tell you woofs, its great. My mommy realllly likes to snuggle with me and it makes me feel loved. When she picks me up i like to stick my nose in her hair and lay in her neck...its warm!! The house is alot of fun...oh oh oh there is this tile stuff on the floor and when i get running really fast, i can slide and go flat into my belly!! man is it fun!! Also, my sister, Kakao is with me and that makes me feel good. We get to sleep in the crate together at night and its really nice to have her around...except when she is pulling on my tail. that really get in my nerves.
So, my main problem is that its BRRRRR outside!!bI wish that it was not so cold outside right now. Mom takes me outside to potty and I shiver like crazy because its freeezing!! Also, my mom's mom has seven other doggies out here at the house, so i cant wait till it gets warmer and I get to play with them!!
I am very happy in my new home, with my new family, and with all my new pals here on Dogster!!
