He loves to run, he loves to please, and he loves to play in the snow! He also really loves to lay down on his side next to wherever Mom or Dad are sitting, and reach his paw up to us to hold while he is napping.....it's so sweet and loving.
Getting a bone stuck under the baseboard heaters, getting his ears cleaned
anything he can easily retrieve
He adores apples, but most any people food will do. We don't give him scraps though.
Through the woods, he loves to case.
He is very good at waiting for something he wants. While he's waiting he does this classic Springer stance that is so endearing, where he sits with his head held high like he is just wishing for the release command.
My other half has had Grafton since he was a wee pup, having met him at the breeders place at only four weeks old. He visited him and the rest of the litter once a week until they were ready to go home. He ended up also getting a pup for his Dad, and they see each other occasionally. He is an excellent dog trainer, and put in all the time it takes to make a puppy into a great dog. I came into the picture much later-having wanted a dog my whole life. He is a total joy and I love being a Mom to him.
He did have a sister in his litter who was liver, tan & white, which we occasionally wish he had adopted as well.
Mr. Wet Paws, and yes, I love the snow.
