Let's Grow Up Together

#3 Snow?

Last year mom says they had lots of snow. What is snow. This year there isn't any. Today it snowed. Wow. It's kinda fun. It wasn't very deep so I didn't have trouble walking or getting lost. Just enough that I could put my nose in it and jump up and down and stuff like that. Mom took pictures. I am still working on my puppy lessons and only have one more class left. I have gained 8 pounds since mom got me and she says I am taller now. I do know it is easier to jump on Duke now!! Gots to go hope to graduate from school this week and then maybe go on and learn more. See ya.

#2 - I go to school

I am on week three of puppy kindergarten. It is so much fun. There is another doggie that looks like me and then other puppies. I try to herd them all. Is that what I'm supposed to be learning? Teacher keeps talking about sit, stay, hoops and potty. I like recess. Actually I'm doing very well. Mom has got me potty trained, mostly I still have an accident or two. Mom needs to run faster is all. I sit really well and am doing good on down. We practice walking and now we are adding Stay. I am getting better at herding the kitties and when I don't herd them I sleep with them. Duke is getting used to me and now that I am a little taller he will play with me. Life it good so far.

#1 I arrive and Beyond

Hi, by now most of you have seen me here and around. Mom has decided that we need to report on my progress to become a good dog. (yea right). Mom's neighbors got a puppy named Sheba just before Christmas. Mom heard all about me but never saw me. Time went on and things happened and mom still never saw me. Then one day the lady knocked on the door and said they were moving and couldn't take the dogs. She knew we had lost Morgan this summer so she thought we would like Sheba. They brought me over and then moved. So here I am. I was three months old and all I knew how to do was sleep in bed. (Still really good at that). Mom and hubro had their work cut out for them. By the time mom got me to the vet a week later I weighed 16.8 pounds and couldn't slip my head out of my collar anymore. We now also know that my dad was an Australian Shepherd and my mom was a border collie/beagle. That's enough for now see you all later.
