Just having attention paid to him, like being petted, brushed, taken on walks. Anything with people.
Being ignored, not being allowed to beg at the table, having a bath, having his tail fur trimmed.
He doesn't play with any toys; he was never taught how to play.
He loves anything you give him-- broccolli soup, steak trimmings, green beans, bread, ect.
Anywhere, as long as he's with his people.
He is deaf, but even so, he can sit, do a begging position with his paws in the air, roll over, and he'll walk anywhere we point.
Originally he belonged to my father's friend. But one day, my dad found his friend had passed away in his house, and nobody wanted the dog. Gizzard was sent to the pound for a few days as we tried to find someone to take him, before we decided to keep him.
Unfortunately, we noticed that he was suffering, from multiple tumors on his skin, arthritis, and after a while he began losing control of his bladder. Although he acted happy, we knew he wasn't; you could see it in his face. No matter how many doses of antibiotics we tried, the infections just kept coming back, so on March 16th, 2009, we had him put to sleep.
Now he is with his original master, and they'll be together forever.
He was named Gizzard because as a puppy his first keeper would feed him chicken gizzards from the deli.
