Yipee! Shady's coming for a visit!

I'm so excited, I'm chasing my tail!

Mommy is going to be taking my pal, Shady, in for a couple months while his mommy finds a new apartment! I love Shady! He's so nice to me and loves to play! I just need to keep him away from my chewies! This is going to be a fun summer!

I only hope he doesn't get too comfy with Mommy and Daddy. They are all mine! But he needs attention and loves too. It'll work out okay. He just can't stay in our bed!

Mommy will pick him up tomorrow and the fun begins!

Yippee! Boating season is back!

Daddy has been working on the boat, getting it ready to go out on! I'm so excited! I'll get to be Captain Canine again! I love feeling the wind on my face when we cruise! And the ducks, EVERYWHERE! I get to swim and chase them. Darn Lake Michigan is usually pretty cold tho and I don't stay in too long. Plus Mommy yells at me to get back so I don't get a cramp. She worries too much. I know, she can't help it ... she loves me! Plus, I've given her close calls before and she gets scared now.

Mommy has a herniated disc and can't take me for hikes. It really bites cuz daddy is so tired when he gets home. Sometimes he takes me anyway. But I don't get to go run like I really want, or need to. Mommy hasn't taken the bike out either. I wish we could ride/run together. It sure was fun last year.

Maggy came home today ...

Mommy brought Maggy home today. She is in an oak box and put on the chest with the pretty flowers Mommy got her. I miss her not getting in the way and barking at me when I jump on the bed, she always hid under the covers!

Chasing sleds ...

Yesterday mom got to watch our other family's boys ... Tony and Joey are a blast! I especially loved getting to lick Tony to death in the face! He squirms and laughs, I love it!!!

Ooooooh! I know what sledding is now! You chase these plastic things that people slide down a hill on! I was pretty good and even kept in front of mom and got her foot! I've got to learn when to stop though! I just couldn't stop chasing them as they whished down that hill! Oh boy, oh boy! It was truly amazing. Boy was I pooped afterwards. I didn't do much the rest of the day. I can't wait till next time!

See you on the hill at Graceland Park sometime!

Too Much SNOW!!!

This is really sad. I love the snow and had wished for it for so long. Now that we've got it, it's too deep to play in for long!!! Ugh. Oh well. I'm having fun chasing the snowballs down the alley anyway.

I'm a Daddy's girl. I wait all day long for Daddy to come home from work. Yes, Mommy's home all day. But Daddy is my main man! He gives me big hugs when he gets home. I love it! Then, we usually go for a hike in the park across the street. I love it when his friends come with. Especially Uncle Tommy. He's my favorite.

Sometimes, Mommy even takes me to a new place to stretch my legs during the day! Gosh is that fun! I run, run, run. Mommy gets a kick out of how I leap like a deer! lol. Isn't she goofy? I used to love the doggy park until a whole bunch of big doggies chased me! I was afraid I'd get run over! So, we don't go there as much cuz I tend to want Mommy to hold me too much if there are big doggies around. I do love swimming in the pond though!
