Arrival Story:
Around 2:30 pm 1/19/09, I went out to feed my deer and I heard a dog barking. I looked over and there was this big white collie type looking dog bouncing all over barking at me then running behind my shed. I thought, not again as I live out from town and an easy drop off for strays. I called my local vets and sent pictures, no one knew her, but one Vet knew of a Recuse for Pyrenees, but after 2 days at the Vet the Lady could not take her. She was going to be shipped to a different rescue about 150 miles away. I was thinking of getting a collie so I just told then no, and brought her back home. So I now have a 60lb nine month old baby that thinks she's a tiny pup. LOL.
Bio:
Sally has gone to live with a widower on a 105 acres that wanted a sister for his 8 year old Pyrenees/St Bernard son. She is well loved, totally adored with a lot of room to run. As we are going to end up traveling for work again, a 28' travel trailer is no place for my baby girl. Her sisfur kitty Tabico is also living with her, so she is not alone.

I have gone to live with a widower on a 105 acres that wanted a sister for his 8 year old Pyrenees/St Bernard son. I am well loved, totally adored with a lot of room to run. As Mommy & Daddy are going to end up traveling for work again, a 28' travel trailer is no place for me! So I now have a wonderful Daddy, a grumpy older dawg brother, my sisfur kitty Tabico (we were adopted together), and a bunch of yard kitties to protect. I love it here. My new Daddy is going to GPS me so he can keep up with me as he worries when I'm gone too long from the house. My Mommy gets updates almost weekly so she can keep everyone informed.

OMD! It is 11.4 degrees this morning! Wind chill factor of 1. You know we live in T-E-X-A-S. The highest temp in the state is 32 at Brownsville, Tx.
Punxsutawney Phil did not see his shadow this morning! So an early spring! That is good news!!!! Last year on the first day of spring we got 8 inches of SNOW! He saw his shadow last year.
I refused to come in the laundry room last night, but I was ready to come in at 4am this morning! I love the cold, but was ready for a nice warm nap BOL!
