Arrival Story: Bella came to us from Georgia, through Eleventh Hour Rescue. She was only 12 weeks old when we met her. We just bought our house and were renovating before we moved in when our new neighbor (Bella's fairy godmother--the adoption fairy that is) told us about the little one. The night we decided to adopt her she got sick in my lap...our neighbor rushed her to emergency and she spent the next few days getting over Parvo. Thanks to the quick treatment, our Bella was a lucky girl. We rushed the completion of the kitchen on the house so that it would be ready for Bella and she came to live with us a week after we moved in.

I've been SO busy sleeping lately that I haven't had the chance to write in my diary! "Those" people must be right....2 years old or so and I just calmed right down!
I think I'm getting tired again....I think it's time for a nap

My humans gave me a new bed this week. It's in their bedroom and I love it b/c it smells just like them and it's just the right size. My humans just looked at me and laughed when they first saw that I found it....I don't know what they were talking about....old clothes and a cardboard box? Works well for me!
Well...until last night anyway. My mom was concerned that I might rip the clothes with my paws, so she took my wonderful, human smelling sheets out of the box and replaced it with dog-smelling towels and a blanket. It just wasn't the same, so I slept there last night, but I ended up chewing it just to spite her.
