Arrival Story:
After losing our Taffy, we wanted to get another dog for our dog Sadie. We were going to wait a bit but I was on a site when I saw these three puppies, huddled together in a shelter cage just scared and alone. They were due for put down in 3 - 4 days. My husband and I just decided right then and there to get one. We had an uphill battle though, she and her siblings were on the other side of the state! Thank God that He had that under control. A rescue just HAPPENED to be going TO that shelter to pick up some dogs to save them from being killed. Through a grapevine I contacted people and in turn within two days Gracie was in our home. Her siblings were saved too but I don't know if they have homes yet. We are so happy to have her as part of our family.
Bio:
Gracie Grace is a Cheagle. She has characteristics of both. She YAPS alot, which we are not happy with but heck, she is a puppy and just having fun. She doesn't just yap out of no where, she yaps when playing and running so we know that it isn't an all the time thing. She is in the process of changing teeth as I write this so like any baby, she is biting EVERYTHING. She does look more like a Beagle but has the head shape and back end/legs and shakes of a Chi. I see both with different things. It took my Sadie a few weeks to accept her. She is STILL in a bit of mourning over Taffy. She has some issues and has regressed a bit but now she plays with Gracie and they sleep together. It is adorable.
