Arrival Story:
We had been visiting the Erie County SPCA for months, but weren't sure we were ready for another dog. Our Pete the Boxer had been gone for a few years. He was a rescue that we adopted when he was 2yrs old. Although we loved him dearly, he was very naughty and quite a handful. Because of this we really wanted a puppy. In September, we went to the SPCA one Saturday and saw an adorable puppy. My husband and I played with "Lance" (Max's shelter name)and made the decision on the "spot" that he was ours! When we picked him up, he pee-ed on Jim! A sure sign that it was meant to be.

Bio:
Max was surrended at a shelter either in Minnisota or Virginia and transported to the SPCA in Buffalo, NY. Paperwork advised he was a Blue Heeler mix, but based on looks and personality, he's pure cattledog!
