Cheyanne was in the "last chance" room at the pound, in a double-wide cage. We knew that she was the dog for us. We had been shopping that day, and had a hard time fitting Cheyanne, the groceries and two humans in the car. She rode on my lap all the way home.

Bio:
Chey is one of the sweetest dogs you could ever meet. She loves kids and babies, and anyone who'll pay attention to her. She will sing beautifully with the emergency vehicle sirens.

I Ran Away!

Yesterday I ran away from home. I was in the backyard without my leash, and I managed to open the gate and get out! Zeus went with me, but he's little and gets cold quickly, so when he heard his Mom calling for him, he ran back home. I kept going though! I found out today that my family and friends spent hours looking for me but they just couldn't find me! Hee hee! I thought it was a lot of fun. I went to the White Castle and they gave me a cheeseburger, but then they called the doggie pound and they took me away! I thought I'd never ever be back in *that* place again!
Boy, what a night. I didn't like sleeping in a cold metal cage with all the other lonely dogs. I was so glad when Dad came to get me this evening! I was afraid I'd never get to go home again. From now on I know my parents are going to be extra careful about keeping me on my tie-out or my leash when I'm outside...
