Arrival Story:
My name is Angel. Young adult that cares a ton about his dog. I became Darky's guardian when my neighbor's dog had a litter of puppies and well she couldn't keep all of them so she decided to see who would adopt them. We had just moved in to the neighborhood and so Darky was a welcome home gift. He was so small that you could carry him in your hand. He has become a very important part in our family.
Bio:
Darky is scared of one thing only... fireworks..then again what dog isn't. In his case though he has a right to be scared...for one Fourth of July he had an accident. A firework hit him in the eye. We dont know who was responsible for the firework but we did find his little house find his little patio full of them. We guessed that some stupid teenagers aimed at him...we dont know for sure. We tried to save his eye but the Vet said there was nothing he could. I was really worried that he was in unbearable pain but the Vet gave him some drops and he started to wag his tail again. His eye was lost, though and now he only sees with his left eye. This happened when he was four or five. He is happy now and whenever it is Fourth of July we put him inside...in my room or in the gararge. He normally isnt allowed inside the house 'cause he is very destructive...not when we are around but when we aren't home.

As you know my name is Darky otherwise known as "Darth Vader". My story begins about 10 years ago when my folks moved to where they live know, Highland Park...near Pasadena...who do i know this?..well im a smart dog u see. Anyway i was born a couple of days before they moved into the new house..December 16, 1999...to be exact. My mother was a German Shepard...my dad a Rotweiler. Since about 7 of us were born there was no way for our previous owner to keep us...so they decided to let my current owner & best bud...Angel to pick one of us. Since they had just moved in, on December 31,1999, his parents were skeptic about having a dog. But thankfully Angel convinced them. He first picked up one of my sisters but then said he wanted a male. So I stood in front of him...and well, he picked me! Both my parents have gone to doggie heaven...and I dont exactly know how many brothers and sisters I have left. I know that two of my brothers died because they ran away along with one of my sisters. ;( Another neighbor is owner of my sister...idk where everyone else is. I am glad that i am with my current owner...he has cared for me since he was six! he is now fifteen and a pretty good owner...I love him with all my heart...and he loves me too!!!
