ME! She follows me anywhere and everything! She also likes LAPS, walks, and rides! She loves snuggling, sleeping late and hanging out with her 'grandma' and 'grandpa.' Wearing clothes that are fashionable, warm, and attract attention! Shopping!

Pet-Peeves:
Being left alone, storms & thunder, not wearing stylish clothing, when my nail polish is chipped, when people try to touch my feet, when I am not referred to as 'the princess', when I am not the center of attention...

Favorite Toy:
Her squeaky bone and teddy bear...Also, her pink blankie!

Favorite Food:
Bread, fruit, chips, anything I will give her! Greenies are her all time favorite!

Our neighborhood, Petco, and the golf course!

Best Tricks:
Sitting, begging...

Arrival Story:
I found Sandy on petfinder.com. She was at a kill shelter in about 2 hours from my house. I called and they could not tell me if she had been adopted or euthanized...I decided to wait. I didn't want to be dissappointed if she had already been adopted out or even worse, put down... About 2 weeks later, I found her at another shelter! I called and put in an application, and I got her on May 29, 2004. She was again going to be put to sleep because she had heartworms so bad, but I had her treated and nursed her back to health the entire summer. She has had several health problems, including seizures, but she has people to wait on her left and right... She is the sweetest little lap dog ever. She loves to wear clothes, lay in the sun, sleep, shop, ride in her stroller, and accompany me anywhere I go! She is the sweetest little dog and based on her personality, looks, disposition, and size, I am hooked on Chihuahuas!!! She is my baby girl and my best friend. My entire family and I are in love with her!

Bio:
Let me just tell you... My dad has never been a 'dog' person... He did get attached to Chance, andI think Chance helped begin to turn him into a dog person. But Sandy Lynn, she is his little girl! He loves that dog and she loves him right back. Whenever my dad gets home, she will sit on the couch and wait for him to sit with her! She is a huge daddy's girl! My entire family and anyone who comes across Sandy Lynn will fall in love with her!

Sandy Lynn,
I knew from the moment I saw those beady little sad eyes on the internet that we were destined to be together. I saved you, and in some ways, you have saved me, as well. I love taking you every where with me, and we have had some great shopping trips and vacations. We are the best girly girl pals and I love you, you crazy little girl!

Doggie Days of Summer...

Well summer is finally here. I absolutely love the warm weather so I can sprawl out and bake in the sun. I am actually getting a tan on my little belly! My mom loves laying out in the sun and I love laying out with her even more! And guess what she bought me??? A bikini!!! Now I have a 1 piece swimsuit, but this new thing is super cute and all of the grown-ups around here have a fit when they see me strutting my stuff!!! We will have to post new pictures in this improved and grown up outfit of mine!!!

Sandy in the Sand

Well my mommy just graduated from college and she went to the beach to relax and take some time off. And guess what!? I got to go with her! We had to drive for like 10 hours which is near 70 hours in doggie time. But I curled up in my little bed and enjoyed the ride with my grandma.
And when we got there, we went shopping and swimming and doing girly things. And there was no grass. There was this white stuff that my mom called 'sand.' Now this was very confusing because sometimes mommy calls me Sand... But I have never seen anything like this and did not like my precious painted nails sinking into it.
But I loved baking in the sun and curling up in my mommy's lap and watching the water come towards me... It was cold and scary and fun at the same time. And I loved it. And my mommy loves the beach and the sand even more.
Ironic that when she picked me out my name just happened to be Sandy, huh? And our middle names were both Lynn, and I think that my mommy is the best thing in the world and we are a match made in heaven!!!
