Arrival Story:
Harper is a deaf dane that is result of an irresponsible breeder. A local chihuahua breeder decided to get into large breeds and bought and sibling pair of merles.....and allowed them to breed. Harper was rescued while several of his litter mates were either stillborn or put down. At ten weeks...harper had been weaned for 6 weeks......yes the breeder weaned the pups at 4 weeks old......and he only weighed 6 pounds. he had been fed a diet of toy breed dog chow. despite his rough start, harper is now a healthy happy growing boy....and is an absolute charmer!
