My name is Chancey because my owners, Noe and Medina really took a chance when they decided to take me in. I am just a few days old and my own mommy rejected me. I just wasn't getting enough milk, and I was losing weight every day. Noe and Medina found out about me and my five brothers and two sisters from a friend... They wanted to save me, but they already have two chihuahuas and jobs that barely pay all of the bills.
My brothers and sisters will all be given away without rehoming fees or any questions asked... They will probably be used for fighting... And me? Well, I heard that puppies like me almost never make it to prancing around a comfy home with their own bed... with people and other dogs to call family...
Doggies like me usually have heartworm and other illnesses that lead to a very short life... Still, when Noe and Medina saw me... They had to take me home and try.
Bleu is their older chihuahua... He's a whole five years old! I want to be that old one day! The younger chihuahua is one year old... Her name is Minni and she treats me better than my real mom... In fact... I'm starting to think Minni is the mommy I was meant to have.
Noe and Medina feed me warm replacement puppy milk, help me go to the bathroom, since I don't know how yet, and they keep me in the warmest little box filled with my very own bed, blankets, and heating pad.
The vet says I am gaining weight every day, but that he still fears I may be sick, since my mother didn't want me. Noe and Medina can't afford the vet bills, but I know that they love me and won't give up on me because I'm not big and strong yet... or because I'm a pit bull.
Please get to know me, please help me to grow strong, and please help me to stay with the people that love me...

Today, Chancey ate VERY well, for the first time really. She ate every time the bottle was offered without us having to go to tube feeding...
But... The BEST news today... Is that little Chancey's eyes have begun to open!!!!!!!!
One is fully open, and the other is halfway there. She's beautiful.
The first thing she saw was Noe, and the big bottle in her mouth, of course... Hahaha!
Pictures coming soon, we're having the internet repaired tomorrow. (It's very slow right now)
