"First diary entry 2-15-09.....12:03am."

Woof, Woof, Woof!!! My name is Sassy. I'm so excited to be a member on dogster. It's so wonderful. My brother Moose is also a member on here. We just had our one year old birthday not to long ago. February 9, 2009 was our birthday. It was so dog gone exciting.
My brother, Moose, and I also have other other family members on here. Buffy, Duncan, (a cat) Kirara (a kitten) (pronounced Key-la-la) (R.I.P.) Our Mother, Boomerang, (R.I.P.)
Anyway as I was saying our birthday was so pawsome. Mom, Dad, and Sissy got us (Buffy, Moose, and I) all a pound of hamburger a piece to eat. (hamburger to us is like cake to our humans.) We got new toys to play with and new leashes. Our old leashes were getting a little tethered. I mean come on with Moose pulling like well a moose he really needed a new leash. I'm not to bad though. Mom got me a new leash that way I wouldn't get jealous. We got special treat also like Beggin' Strips and Hollywood liver treats. Yuuummmmy!!!!!!
We had such a fun day. But then again mom told me that birthdays are always fun! Can't wait until next year. YIIIPPPPEEEE!!!!!!!!!!

Moose's and mine mother

The two pictures that you see are pictures of my brother, Moose's and mine "real" mother. Her name was Boomerang. The reason I say "was" is because she passed away about six to seven months ago. We were of course really sad. Even our human family was sad.
Our mother, Boomerang, belonged to my human mothers stepson.
Boomerang was a stray dog that was taken in by my human family.
Don't I just look like my mom? The only difference is our color. My mom is brown and white and I'm white and brown. I love you mom!!!!!

The passing of Sassy

Sassy passed away about a year and a half ago when she was hit by a car that was going down the hill where we live at. Sassy's leash broke and she got loose and the driver wasn't able to stop fast enough. Sassy had a liter of pups luckily at the time of the accident they were six months old. If you can see the picture of Rocky that I put on here, he is one of Sassy's pups. Right now Rocky is just a little over two years old. You can see how Rocky looks like Sassy. Sassy was white and blonde. Rocky is blonde and white.
