I would love to say that Sprocket loves his humans most, but that's simply not the case. The love of his life is RUNNING!

Sprocket gets annoyed by noisy neighbors who come in at all hours of the night and slam their doors. He dislikes loud noises, and people who treat animals poorly. He doesn't get along too well with most Jack Russell Terriers, due to bad past experiences.

Favorite Toy:
Sprocket loves his real bones, and his stuffed animal carcasses, and his chewy rope, and his ball, and a stick and.....

Favorite Food:
Sprocket will eat just about anything. He really loves Alpo, though!

Favorite Walk:
He doesn't like to walk. He likes to RUN! He really enjoyed Old Man's Cave in Logan, ohio.

Best Tricks:
Sprocket can perform a move called "Circus Dog".

Arrival Story:
Sprocket was found by a local rescue in a shelter not far from here. He had been picked up by the dog warden alongside the road, and was in ill shape. The woman from the rescue was in touch with a bunch of elementary school children in New York City, who had a bake sale to raise the funds to rescue him. The rescue woman took Sprocket in, who was named Liam at that time. She thought he might be a Welsh Corgi/Australian Shepherd mix. I found them on the internet via petfinder.com, and was soon on my way to becoming his owner. Before all of this, I was very afraid of dogs. Sprocket proved to be difficult in that he had SO much anxiety. He flinched at everything and was very skittish. He does well now, and helps me with my anxiety! He's the sweetest little pet and best companion I could ever ask for. Sprocket is my wonder dog.

It became very apparent as Sprocket grew that he was a sighthound/collie cross. Because he's so short, we're pretty sure he's a whippet x collie. Either way, he falls into the category of LURCHER. He loves nothing more than to have a run at the dog park, and tries to "herd" all the other dogs, as well as our two household cats. He gets along well with just about EVERYONE!
