Quick Bio:

Birthday:
April 5th 2006

Likes:
He LOVES eating "schweine ohre" or pigs ears, but doesn't get them much in the USA because they are EXPENSIVE!

Pet-Peeves:
People bothering him when he is trying to take his afternoon nap.

Favorite Toy:
His mate, Katie. He loves chasing her around the house.

Favorite Food:
Anything that doesn't move! He gets fat very easily so we have to watch what he eats.

Favorite Walk:
Through the woods and fields near our house in Germany was his most favorite place. For now we are stuck with the road out front in Arkansas.

Best Tricks:
"Watch!" He loves that command because he knows there will be a treat at the end of it!

Arrival Story:
After our beloved mixed corgi-beagle died while we were living in Germany, we explored the two corgi breeds. We decided upon the Cardigan Welsh Corgi over the Pembroke, because dogs just have to have tails, right? Anyway, I wanted to find breeder who could speak English, so I started my search in England. Since the Cardigan Welsh Corgi is an endangered breed in England (they had fewer than 75 pups born that year) I was unable to find even a pet puppy, though one lady (who latter became my friend) referred me to a lady in Ireland who had a few pups available. I contacted her and arrangements were made for my eldest son and I to fly to Ireland. Once there, we met another breeder from Finland (that of Timmy's father) and the two ladies convinced me to begin showing my boy. But the real convincing had to be done with my skeptical husband! Once we arrived back in Germany, we took our dog to a puppy class. The German instructor walked right up to us, and without even saying "hello," he said, "I sure hope you plan on showing that dog. He's a great looking dog!" Right then my husband was convinced. So we began showing Timmy in Germany, Belgium, and France. Unfortunately we had to leave Germany before he was old enough to get his championship. They have to be at least 27 months old before this can happen. So he is only one win away from his German and international championship. We are hoping to move back there within the next year and a half and are confident he will be a champion then.

Bio:
Timmy is the son of International, American, Irish, and Polish Champion Yardican Cardiridge Noki Niilo and Dearborghaill for Jazenta. He has champion parentage, siblings, and nieces and nephews. Someday he will have champion pups.
