Birthday: December 25th 1999 Likes: Eating,swimming,stealing the dish towel from the kitchen,watching Animal Planet, stealing your shoes or slippers, going for walks, swimming, playing ball, going on vacations with his parents to anywhere that involves swimming! Pet-Peeves: Squirrels or doves at our backyard bird feeder, cats,being forced to wear stupid costumes,going down dark stairs, having his ears cleaned,the weird old lady with the sunglasses,when someone gets the hiccups and most of all the vacuum cleaner! Bio: We got him from a breeder at 6 weeks. He was born on Christmas day 1999 and was a great comfort to us after losing my Mother to cancer that same year at Thanksgiving. He is our first baby! His cousin was Maxy, a 13 year old Yellow Lab who passed away on 7/13/06. He also had a friend named Bear(RIP), a 9 year old Chocolate Lab that my sister rescued from www.petfinders.org. I can be free to be a dog again!! I chase squirrels, birds and best of all cats!! No limitations and I'm walking better than ever!! It's great to be a dog!
Had my 12 week post-op x rays and the doctor says I'm 80% healed! That's supposedly great news. 1 more month of restricted activity and if all goes well I'll be free to do whatever I want again. Wish me luck!
I'm finally home from that hospital-2 weeks away is a long time! It's taken me 1 whole week to adjust but I'm feeling a little better now. My Mom is glad that my appetite is finally back. We go back to see the Vet today for our post-op check. God-I hate that place! Wish me luck!!
