Arrival Story:
I picked up Peaches when she was 9 weeks old from the parents of a little boy that played on my 6-8 yo baseball team. He kept showed up for practice with no parent on evening, which was unusual. When I asked where was his mom or dad, he replied, "They are home tending puppies." My son had been wanting a dog of his own since he could talk. I kept asking the boy questions about how the pups and she sounded fine so I took the customary look at them, she was the last one left and I arranged to get her a few weeks later. She wasn't traditionally attractive then, just a fuzzy ball of orange and brown fur but we have always thought she is the prettiest.

Bio:
Peaches mother's people told me that mom was 7 years old, 1st pregnancy, her mom was half springer spaniel and her dad was a mutt. Peaches dad was what they think was a white shepherd that appeared after a blizzard. That when they saw him, they saw mostly just his eyes and nose over a snow bank.

The Best Dog:
Peaches is such a mutt that she is every dog all rolled into one. When she a puppy she loved to herd. We had a border collie that lived across the street and it amazed me that they played exactly alike. She also would herd the neighborhood children. Now that she's getting older, she enjoys running along side them while they ride bikes. She loves retrieving, swimming, going for car rides, and playing with her new little sister.
