Stolen Shirts Returned

Smitty was finally the lucky recipient of 3 shirts on Saturday, May 29th--two Hawaiian (one fits perfectly, the other is not good because it's too tight around the armpits, and the safe return of his "STUD" shirt.) Angela finally did the "honorable" thing and returned all of these shirts to Smitty with also a refund of $20 for the four month duration that we had to endure to wait for them.

Angela still thinks it's my fault for not realizing she was in a car accident. First, I live in FL and she's in CA. Her accident did not make national news so there was no way for me to learn of it. Second, I am not a mind reader! Third, Angela or her daughter should have taken one minute to notify me shortly after the accident occurred and I most certainly would have taken that into consideration about why the work did not get completed on Smitty's shirts.

I tried to send Angela a "thank you" for the return of shirts and money and to extend her well wishes in recuperation from her accident, but she chose to discontinue her personal e-mail and removed her pets from Smitty's profile. I am finally pleased with the end result and wish her a speedy recovery.

One thing that still amazes me about the entire situation is Angela through her daughter didn't have the foresight to even extend an apology. That would have been the professional thing to do. Customers do not need to go through the anguish I experienced.

Smitty is pleased too with the end results and he will be willing to model his shirts when I take some photos of him this week. He is no worse for the wear! I just wanted to do something special for my baby and didn't realize what a horrendous state-of-affairs that we would have to go through to accomplish it. I guess the motto: "Buyer beware" is still relevant to this situation! Smitty says: "Ruff Ruff!" He knew we were in for a "rough" time!

Thank you for those supportive Dogster friends who are standing by me in regard to the dilemma surrounding Smitty's shirts which have not been returned to him for an excessive time period. I pleaded very professionally with Angela P. multiple times, but my many e-mails went unnoticed and unresponded to. I was patient for over nearly a four month period. If Angela P., in fact, was in a car accident and was monitoring her e-mail, she could have tried to respond earlier. The only thing that motivated Angela P. to respond was when I decided to forward one final note to her via her Dogster page that I decided to take action and report her to Dogster for her inability to fulfill any agreement with me and for non-communication. Again, I asked her to do the "honorable" thing; and if she did, I would have refrained from contacting Dogster, or upon receipt of Smitty's two shirts, I would have contacted and kindly requested Dogster to reinstate Angela P. It was only through the threat of removing her from Dogster where she finally chose to act.

The two responses that I finally received from Angela after I e-mailed her via Dogster, were caustic, accusatory, insensitive and unapologetic! In fact, Angela P. informed me that she was "refraining from telling me off" and that I "had a bad attitude"! It amazed me that for someone who claims she's been in an accident was so hostile to the many professional e-mails I wrote to her. None of my e-mails to her were inflammatory. I don't believe in abusing or treating people in an unkind fashion even though they are disregarding my attempts to solve the problem. Aside from this, all her e-mails were written in the 1st person and I believe that she typed them personally herself, not her daughter. Her daughter would have wrote in the 3rd person if they were actually coming from her.

Therefore, I have chosen to remove Angela's two posted comments on my page because I do not want to be reminded of an immature, irresponsible, accusatory individual who doesn't know the meaning of "respect for a customer". I thank everyone sincerely who has written in support of me and appreciate the kind thoughtfulness of your comments. I only want what is rightfully mine for my dear little dog, Smitty. These shirts are for his pure enjoyment and not to take abuse from a woman who can't even think reasonably!

"Lickie Mummy's Toesies"

Mummy likes to parade around the house with her barefeet. Mummy also likes to teach me different things. So one day, Mummy decided that she was going to teach me to lick her toesies'! I told Mummy that she thinks of the weirdest things, but she kept on saying: "Lickie Mummy's toesies" while giving me a little treat. So now when she says that, or just sits down beside me with her barefeet, I feel compelled to "lick her toesies"! Mummy promises me that she has "clean toesies" because I absolutely refuse to lick dirty feet! Isn't me Mummy silly?!

Mummy said she wanted me to have a Hawaiian shirt. Mummy ordered one from a lady at Dogster. Me shirt didn't fit right around the sleeve holes so she sent it back to the seamstress, along with another one of my favorite turquoise/black t-shirt's which said "STUD", in order for the seamstress to use as a sample to gauge me size. Mummy kept on waiting-and-waiting for me shirts to be sent back to me. She wrote many messages asking when me could expect me shirts. The seamstress finally said she would send them, but they never arrived. Mummy wrote more e-mails to the seamstress, but she refused to respond. Mummy pleaded with the seamstress to "DO THE RIGHT THING" and send back me shirts we paid for. To this date, Baby's and Santana's (both Chihuahua/Pomeranions) owner refuses to return me shirts. The seamstress also had a website where she sold doggie clothing (www.thecaninecollection.com). Mummy is reporting Angela Pederson to Dogster for refusing to send back two shirts that we paid for. She's a member on "Trading Dog Goodies" and advertises that she will swap something for sewing your dog an article of clothing. Never do business with this irresponsible lady! She is not reliable and might end up doing the same to you! She obviously does not possess an ethical bone in her body!

Since Mummy was so upset about me losing two great shirts, Mummy decided to buy me some replacements. Mummy's favorite pet store only had one available and it's me new red golf shirt that is designed by "Max's Closet". He has a great line of clothing for boy and girl doggies! Would you believe that Mummy told the lady at the pet store that she "wished me was a girl dog" because she loved the girl doggie clothing so much? Heaven's to mergetrode! Mummy could be charged with being a traitor! Me told Mummy to promise that she would never breathe a word like that ever again! Me told Mummy that me is a very sensitive poochie and could not take that kind of language! Me is proud to be a boy doggie! Mummy apologized profusely, gave me some of me special treats, and swore on the Bible that she would never commit that sin again! Me believed her and will keep Mummy to her word!

At nine months, Smitty swallowed a penny. We were playing fetch with his ball. The ball hit the penny which was on our kitchen counter top and sent it flying onto the floor. Smitty ran for it while I yelled "No". He got to it before me. The next day, he became deathly ill and had to be rushed to the emergency vet clinic. We were told that the penny would need to be surgically removed and would cost $984. I began to cry because we didn't have that kind of money. The vet calmed me down and said we could initiate a payment plan. She x-rayed Smitty and found the penny in his stomach. After inducing him, the penny moved elsewhere. When she first opened up his stomach, she couldn't find the penny. She had to suture him up and re-x-ray him. Then she found it in his intestine. When he was opened up again, she removed the penny. Quite an ordeal for a 9 month old. This was the most expensive penny that we ever had! I am a local celebrity! My picture was featured in the local newspaper on December 20, 2008 along with 8 other dogs. I was featured because of my "Marley Moment"! Swallowing that penny has made me famous! I'm willing to give an interview to any reporter!

Very compact, furry, well-rounded, small and fit. Luvs to be groomed.
Smitty absolutely loves to go "Bye-Bye Car"! That's all you have to say & he'll run around the room until you go to the door and start to jump on you until you put him on his leash. He is so accustomed to going to the drugstore where he usually gets treats, so every time he gets in the car, he immediately starts looking in the front console for them where I normally place them. If there's none, he lays down in the back seat and pouts! He even knows when we're close to the drugstore because he starts jumping up and down in the backseat in anticipation of getting them. The drugstore just changed its policy & doesn't give the treats out any more. Smitty still lets them know that he's really upset about it by trying to tell them about it at the drive-in window! In fact, he told one of the clerks with his gruffest woof that he expected better treatment!

Smitty knows that after we finish eating lunch that he's entitled to a "Beggin Treat"! He's told me that "begging" is not a classy act for him so he's re-named them "Bacon" 'cuz he said that's what they look like! As soon as I say "Bacon", he runs right up to the pantry door & circles around until I open it. Then when the door is opened, he recognizes the package and begins to nudge it with his nose! I must teach him better manners 'cuz he forgets to tell me "Thank You" after he's gobbled it down!

Dinner time at our house is Smitty's favorite time of the day! He knows Mummy & Poppy are woosies 'cuz they'll share their veggies and small pieces of meat! Smitty will get into his favorite sitting position & say "Please" until he gets something. After dinner, he follows Mummy into the kitchen to wait for his "Filet Mignon" treat! He knows everything by name & doesn't need a dictionary to identify the objects!

Me Mummy & Poppy taughts me to play a really fun game! All Mummy or Poppy has to say is "Goin' Get You" & extend their arms out & me's can get them to chase me all around the house! Both of 'em are too slow to catch me! They're great sports about it 'cuz after we're done they give me some more treats! Me's gots to trick 'em anyway me can fur those delicious yummies!
