We went to look at a litter of St. pups, and he followed my husband around the room, and kept sitting in front of us, as if to say, "Pick Me!" Bio:
Samson had a very bad muscle disease in his head when he was 1 yr. and it caused his head to appear smaller, because it doesn't have much muscle over the skull. Because of a caring vet, he made a full recovery. Today he is 240 lbs. of love, who thinks he's a lap dog.

My Life as a Dog by Samson

Today I walked across the Rainbow Bridge...

It was a beautiful sunny, winter day, 01/28/2006 and as I strolled across my backyard, something came over me, and I couldn't breathe. Gasping for air, and falling to the ground, they rushed to my side. I got up again, and made it to the car, and was rushed to the doctor. My throat was swelling, and closing my airway. As I struggled for air, the doctor tried her best to help me, but the outcome was not going to be good. I was too weak for a surgey that I may not have lived through. They made the ultimate choice to let me go....across the bridge, into that beautiful blue sky, to a rolling green pasture, where I can run my heart out. I died in their arms, gently slipping into a drug induced sleep. I didn't suffer long. I leave my best friend Hercules and little Riley to fill my big paws, and help them through this.
Farewell all, I will see you on the other side....

A New Pet

Well, our new puppy arrived, and I'm not real happy about it. It can only mean I don't get all the attention. He tries to jump all over me, and I'm not crazy about it. He is a cute little thing though. He's very friendly. Hercules doesn't mind him at all. He just looks at him. I've seen bigger fleas than him!

Let me tell you....life is great! Dad just got some new treats, and I know where they are hidden! Just wait until Hercules goes to sleep.
Last night I got to sleep on the couch downstairs. Mom wasn't happy there weren't any sheets on the couch, (I tend to shed a lot). I was so tired, I just laid my little head down on the pillow and fell asleep. Dad had to lay on the floor. They don't make couchs big enough for me!
