   Leave a bone for Hamilton

Hammy, Hamey, Hammy Head, Hamilpoop

Quick Bio:

Sleeping, food, cuddling, licking faces, meeting new people.

Rain, cold, being left alone, car rides.

Favorite Toy:
It varies

Favorite Food:
Anything but what he's supposed to eat.

Favorite Walk:

Best Tricks:
"stick 'em up", and stealing all the covers and most of the bed even though he's only 18 pounds. And howling. If you make certain noises at him, he howls, and man does he have the cutest howl!

Arrival Story:
A few years ago we decided it was time for a dog. We were living in a "dogs 20lbs and under OK" apartment complex. We had looked at several shelter dogs who might be able to pass for 20 lbs. Then one Sunday as we were driving around looking for something to do, we spotting a littler of bostons in a local paper. Bostons happened to be my fiance's favorite small breed. So we went over to have a look. There were 2 puppies left. Adorable, healthy, well socialized, halfway housebroken eight week old puppies. So we brought Hamilton home. Although I have some serious guilt about having a dog from a breeder, we simply could not imagine life without Hamilton.

Hammy is our little man. Our little old man. He's neurotic, has separation anxiety, couldn't be crate trained, won't stay out in inclement weather long enough to poop, even with jacket and booties on, hides and shakes when mommy and daddy yell, gets so freaked out in the car that he won't eat (ANYTHING), also won't eat when he's home alone, likes to sleep in closets, and oh man you should see the face he makes when he's done something wrong. He's a super-sensative pup. Definitely brings out the maternal instinct.

There was snow outside today. I don't understand why Mommy can't make it go away. That stuff is SO cold! I don't know what Adeen thinks is so cool about it. Now that Mom knows she likes it so much, she'll probably take Adeen out to play in it without me. Humph.
