Birthday: March 5th 2006 Likes: Napping with Mommy, going for walks, and playing with whoever will give her tons of attention. Pet-Peeves: Loud noises, like motorcycles scare her. Favorite Toy: Anything soft that squeeks. The PetsMart trademark toy is definitely a favorite too. Favorite Food: Greenie's treats, and she enjoys getting cheese treats from my Dad. >_< SO BAD! Favorite Walk: She's likes her most familiar places, which is usually around the area we live. Best Tricks: "up" where she dances for a treat, a toy, or an audience. Arrival Story: June 6, 2006, I finally went ahead and visited the pet store where I had seen a black Pomeranian on their website. She was quiet, very tiny, and had a mild ear infections in both ears. After begging and pleading my Mother to let us take her home, Mom consented and we then adopted our newest member of the family. I had always wanted a dog from the age of 5. 15 years later, I finally did.
What a mischief maker! From the moment I brought her home, she went around the house sniffing and determining what her new home was like. I'll never forget the first time she jumped off the couch and landed on her head - I worried so much and contemplated taking her to the vet, until my friend, and long time Pom owner told me not to worry, as her fall was not that bad.
It's been almost three years since I've had her, and not a day goes by that I don't share my emotions and life with my wonderful Cookie. She really is more like a daughter to me - people think that it's crazy I call her my daughter, but only pet owners know what it's really like, isn't that so?
