She has been my loyal companion for 4 years, and my husband fell in love with her the minute that he met her. She actually favors him now! I am a bit jealous, but I really just enjoy her company.
Bio: Bella is a Hurricane Katrina survivor. We lived in New Orleans until Bella was a year old, then the storm hit, and we packed our things and moved out west. Bella never lets anything bother her, including being in a car for 3 days while we drove across the country!

I've Been On Dogster Since:
So when my mom and dad adopted Duke, I was excited because I would have someone to play with, ALL THE TIME!
I didnt realize that he would be so much fun! When he first came to live with us, I didnt know that he was going to get bigger and stronger. He was so small! And now he is almost as tall as me! As soon as we wake up until we cant move anymore, we play! We even snuggle when we sleep now!
Mom keeps saying that one day we will have a yard to play in. Im excited for that. She says that they are going to install a doggie door too, so Duke and I wont have to ask to be let out, we can just come in and out as we please! That will be fun. But until then, Im content to sit in front of the heater and watch the squirrels run by outside. Duke likes to bark at them.
Well, that is all I have for now, but Ill probably write more later if we do something exciting.
PS... Duke peed on Mom and Dad's bed and now he isnt allowed up there anymore. I still am though.
Spring is finally coming and Mom has decided that we need more exercise, so we have started walking every day when she gets home from work. I of course try to take the lead, and show everyone that I know where we are going and when we should get there. Duke usually has other plans, but no matter what we try to do, Mom just keeps on walking, and that's ok. We like to walk. Especially since this winter has been really rainy and snowy, and the ground has been really squishy and gross. Plus, Duke had a cold, so we went for short walks, but nothing where he had to stay outside too long.
I am so glad it is getting warmer! We can finally go back to the dog park! Yay, I can see all my friends again! I love having Duke around, but what can I say, I am a social animal. I sure hope that all my pup pals are having as much fun as I am!
So last night, Mom and Dad took me and Duke out to a fun place with music and food and people, and other dogs! I think Mom called it a Bar. Usually when Mom and Dad go out, Duke and I have to stay home, but this time we got to go, and we had a BLAST! There were tons of dogs there! We met a huge dog named Duke. He was a boxer, and very friendly. I liked him right away. I also met a Welsh Corgi named Ferdinand... it was nice having someone my size to hang out with! Duke was a big hit, all of my parents friends wanted to hold him. I was happy as a lark sniffing out fallen french fries on the ground, and meeting all sorts of new dogs and new people!
My mom and dad seemed to really like that place. I hope that we get to go back again some time. Everyone seemed to really enjoy hanging out with us. It was an awesome time all around, then Duke and I fell asleep in the car. Oh! The name of the place was "the Duchess".
