Anniversary

It has been one year ago today that we lost our Ellie. We still think about her daily and miss her dearly. She was that one special dog we all have in our lives! I look forward to the day when I'll see her at the Rainbow Bridge.

Can't forget

I just can't get over the loss of Ellie. It's been 2 months now and I still think about her daily. Although Cassey is a new joy to our family, we still long for Ellie. I've had dogs my entire life and I have mourned many. Ellie was just that extra bit special and I'm finding it so hard still. I guess knowing that we'll never see another dog like her is part of the loss. We still miss her dearly.

Ellie finally lost her battle today and we sent her to the Rainbow Bridge. We're going to miss her so much. It is a very sad day. I'll write more when I'm up to it.

The weekend

I'm quite glad this weekend is over. Once again mom and dad invited someone over that I don't like. Azuki likes him, but I don't like older men, they frighten me. I did try to be good by liking his lady partner. I always like ladies. They play with me and give me lots of attention. Anyways... more family came over and I like everyone except my daddy's dad! I just wanted to keep quiet by the washing machine all day. I feel safe there. I was enticed to come out to play with the children for awhile especially since they smell like nice food and always give me some.
I was happy today just to have mom and dad to myself. I love daddy, he's my favourite but I like taking naps and cuddling with mom on the sofa too.
Ready for a quiet day tomorrow when mom and dad have to go back to work.
