Arrival Story:
Ellie came to us when she was just under one year old. We were looking for a female companion for our older male shiba. We first met Ellie when she was 6 months old at a dog show and fell in love. We finally met up with Ellie's owner months later and she was looking for a new home. She has fit into our family perfectly.

Bio:
Ellie has a terminal illness having to do with a genetic kidney disorder. We're not sure how much longer she'll be with us. But each day is a gift and Ellie is a very happy dog. We know that she will die having had a very good life, even though short. Update: 27/01/05 Ellie finally lost her battle today and we sent her to the Rainbow Bridge. We're going to miss her so much.

It has been one year ago today that we lost our Ellie. We still think about her daily and miss her dearly. She was that one special dog we all have in our lives! I look forward to the day when I'll see her at the Rainbow Bridge.

I just can't get over the loss of Ellie. It's been 2 months now and I still think about her daily. Although Cassey is a new joy to our family, we still long for Ellie. I've had dogs my entire life and I have mourned many. Ellie was just that extra bit special and I'm finding it so hard still. I guess knowing that we'll never see another dog like her is part of the loss. We still miss her dearly.

Ellie finally lost her battle today and we sent her to the Rainbow Bridge. We're going to miss her so much. It is a very sad day. I'll write more when I'm up to it.
