Arrival Story:
I just adopted Pippen (formerly PePe) from a toy breed rescue group who got him and his mother and sisters from a shelter 6 months ago. Mother was a Papillion and got adopted right away, as did his sisters. According to his foster mother, no one wanted him because he wasn't a purebred...which just broke my heart for him. He is an amazing little guy! He has totally adjusted to our household of a 4 yr old. 105 lb. GSD, Ronin; 9 yr. old GSD/Aussie mix, Shasha; and our five cats (Katie, Cleo, Simon, Mia, and Jessie). Such a personality, very sweet-tempered, and most affectionate. I just can't believe no one wanted him!!
Bio:
He is two years old as of January 2009 and weighs 14 1/2 lbs. --- 2 1/2 more than in his pic, which was taken 6 months ago. He stands 11" at the shoulder and is about 25" long from nose to tip of his tail. We are walking 2 miles every morning so hopefully he will trim up a little!
