Arrival Story:
I bought Kinde in April 1992. She was 6 weeks old, and my first dog EVER! Took her camping to Lake Travis (Austin, Texas) in May. Found out I was pregnant w/ my daughter a few weeks later. Me and Kinde were VERY TIGHT. She was my very first baby, and a very big part of my life. I got KoKo for her as a playmate in Oct. '92. Had Caitlin in Jan. '93. The three of them grew up together. My ex and I have joint custody of all 3. Wherever Caitlin goes, the dogs go too. Got Racie 11 months before Kinde Passed away.

Bio:
Kinde's last year was tough. She deterioriated slowly at first, then the last 3 months went fast. Just so happened, I was not supposed to have her the day she died, she was supposed to be with her dad, but I had all 3 dogs, and my daughter. She had a heart problem. I knew that week, that she would not make it much longer. I took off work that Wed. to be with her, and took pics, and made a plaque w/ her and the other dogs paw prints, and my daughters hand print. My daugher had just that week started her first day in 5th grade, the Friday she died. She convulsed, and died, I gave her mouth to nose, and she came back to life. We layed in the bed together, and about 10 minutes later, Kinde looked at me, and gasped, and layed her head in my hand and passed peacefully. A day I will never ever forget. She was my first baby. And I miss her terribly. I have a album in her memory, in my Webshots. I cannot access right now, but when I can, i will post it.
