Last night Sunny was returned to me after being Stolen and missing for over a week. It looks like the thief took off his tags and Sunny escaped from them and was found by a family in Wiggins. They had Him a week before seeing the newspaper ad looking for him.
All this after having to be separated from me after Hurricane Katrina when out shelter would not allow pets. He was with us during Katrina and fared well during it.
My folks gave me a fight as they did not want to give Sunny back to me saying I didnt care for him and had no place to keep him after losing my home and everything else in the hurricane. We have a FEMA trailer and they are allowing pets in the park so I wanted my babe back.
Its been a while since I wrote anything. Sunny is just wonderful. Hes discovered the joy of car windows and Ive bought a special harness and lead so he can let the wind whip thro his ears.
He goes everywhere with me and just loves to ride even if he had to be crated for longer rides.
I honestly think his former owners dumped him due to the reverse sneezing. HE does it alot and will wheeze after he eats or drinks.The sneezes do get pretty distressing for all. The Vet saus hes fine tho, I had her check him. Hes such a dearheart and Id not trade him for any other.
Sun-Sun is back to his usual self. Hes got 3 speeds, dead calm asleep, slow mischief and warp sped. His little "Can I help" quiet mishchief today earned him a set of black dyed ears. I was dying my brothers hair and sunny came in and got dripped on. So to even things out I purposly dripped a bit on the other ear and promptly washed both off.
