Arrival Story:
Raised him from a puppy. Was just walking by the local pet store and that little puppy face was in the window. The rest is history. He's lived in IL & CO. He's our only furry little kid!
Bio:
Barney's the most loveable, trustworthy, Cocker we have ever known. And with the sweetest temperment. Maybe because he's been through so many medical procedures and surgeries, we don't want to remember. (And neither does he)
He's learned how valuable life can be and always makes the most of it. He also has diabetes with 2 daily insulin shots. Almost deaf. Vision is failing with Cataracts. Oh, and to add even more style, he has a paralyzed drivers-side rear paw. So, he cruises around like John Wayne.
But, with all that ailes him and everything he's been through... he still thinks he's that puppy-in-the-window. Gotta' love the 'lil guy, I hope we're all as strong when we're almost 100 years old.
Update: Barney passed in October '05. We miss him so much.
