My Life as Danny Boy

Danny Boy has his furever home.

No time to think about him leaving. No time to get cry and feel sad. Got a call from the mom of another dog I had adopted out almost 2 yrs ago. She had a friend who was looking for a dog for her 9 yr old grandson who lives with her and her husband. Did a phone interview and then took Danny out to her home to meet them and inspect their fence. Beautiful home! Grandson and Danny were in love with each other when we walked in the door. This is a wonderful home. It's just what I wanted for him. I went through the adoption procedure and then it was time to go. I gave Danny a kiss and told him I love him and will check on him. I was invited to call or come by to visit any time I want to see Danny Boy. Awesome people. Danny Boy is special and he has truly found a special home. I was very down for a few hours. I had Danny almost 6 months!!! He was just meant for the home he has so I guess he had to stay with me until now. I found a precious little Shih Tzu boy at the pound who was going to be put down the next morning when the pound opened. I was able to get a volunteer to go in and let me have the little dog before the next morning when he was first in line to be killed. Danny Boy left a spot in my home for this little dog to fill. I am able to save his life and Danny is loved and has a perfect home. That's the way it is supposed to be.
Love you Danny. Have a happy life little boy. I will not ever foget you.

I don't have my home yet

Sunday Mom and Dad took me to Petsmart again. I've been there a lot of times. It's fun. I get to me other dogs and people and kids too. Sunday I met the sweetest little girl. I kissed her all over and when she sat on the floor I got up in her lap and tried to take a nap. Her Mom and everyone laughed and said I am so cute and sweet. her Mom took some papres from my Mom and said she would think about adopting me and would call Mom on Monday. Well Monday came and went and no call. I think Mom was feeling sad for me. But it's OK. I love my home here and alllllll my friends. We have lots of fun and I have good food. Mom even cooks for us. She makes good Liver! I have my own crate to sleep in with soft clean bedding. I have all I want and need so it doesn't make any difference if I get adopted or not. So, I'm still here.

Mother's day

I love my mommy. She is trying hard to find me a good furever home. She takes me to Petsmart every Sunday. People pet me and kids paly with me and they ask mommy about me but they pick someone else every week. It happened again today. On the way home mommy said that I am a wonderful little dog and that we just have to be patient and wait for God to send my people to adopt me. She says there is someone that has an empty space in their heart and home just the right size for me to fill up. I trust her so I'll just have fun here with my friends and wait till next week.
