Arrival Story:
We had Rooney and Minnie for several years, and felt we needed to rescue a Dachshund. We searched for awhile on Petfinders.com and the name "Rosie" caught my eye. My son was in love with a girl named Rosie and the picture of the dog looked like she was smiling! It felt like a sign. Rosie was about two when we adopted her. She had been treated for heartworms and had already had a litter of puppies. She was so fearful at first. She didn't bark for months, and still seldom does. But now she is happy and playful!

Bio:
Rosie loves to throw her treats in the air and "catch" them again. She is the only of our three that will jump up on our lap. She is extreamly cuddly and most everyones favorite who comes to visit.
