Arrival Story:
Winston was whelped from our first litter of pups. He was slated to be sold but began getting sick when he was around 6 weeks old. He could not breathe. His nostrils were too small and my vet said he had a crooked esophagus. We spent many nights going to sleep with our fingers in his mouth so he could breathe and sleep. He could not sleep because he couldn't breathe. Due to his esophagus he could not eat hard food. Therefore that is where he began eating Bite Size Shredded Wheat soaked in milk. By the time he was 3 months old I had about $500.00 in vet bills on him. I just could not sell a sick pup to anyone. Our vet did not expect him to live more than a year. Well, here we are almost 4 years later and he is the most spoiled dog any one has seen. I cannot see my life without him. He is my baby 100%. He sleeps wrapped around my head. He sits on my left leg when I am driving. That is why I consider him a Velcro dog. I am a firm believer that "If your dog does not make you smile or laugh at least once a day, You do not deserve that dog"

Bio:
The picture of him asleep next to the mop is on our boat. That was his first ride on the lake and it didn't go too well. Needless to say, he is a now a land lubber.

My Mommy & Daddy are getting into transporting Pekingese puppies or big Pekingese to new homes. They tell me that if someone wants to get a Pekingese from somewhere East of the Mississippi (whatever that is) that they will pick it up and take it to their new home. They tell me that they can do it cheaper than flying a puppy and it will be much better on them. My Mommy said I could go with her to help keep the other dog company. My mommy & Daddy love Pekes and they want everyone to have one. I can't wait to go for a ride. Hope to see you on the road soon, Winston

A Quick Catch-Up. Why I want My Mommy.

Me and my doggie family (Lizzy, Bristol & Troublemaker..oops I mean Junior) are staying at the boarding kennel. We have been there since November 8th of this year. My Human Mommy and Daddy's house was hit by this loud noise and bright light (Mommy called it lightning) and we can't stay there. They say the house might burn up. I don't like fire. My Human Mommy and Daddy are staying in some building called a Motel. They tell us that the people that own this big building won't let us stay there. It really makes me cry because I can't go there. Mommy has promised me that we will get a big new house to run and play in real soon. I don't care how big or little it is as long as my Mommy is there. My Mommy comes to see me twice a week and sometimes I get to go in the car with her for a ride. I love to ride in the car. I told her I would live in the car at the big building, but she won't let me because it is too cold right now. At least and the boarding kennel I am with my doggie family (Even Junior...sigh). The lady taking care of us is very nice and loves us very much, but I still miss my Mommy. I am hoping that Santa brings them a new house for Christmas so we can all be back together really soon. Happy Holidays to all my Doggie friends. Hope Santa brings you all a BIG Bone.
