Arrival Story:
In April 2007 we had to put our corgi mix Roxy down because her kidneys were failing. It was very hard for the whole family and with both me and my sister in college, my parents were not sure if they wanted another dog. But then came Mazi. Our neighbors daughter had bought Mazi as a puppy and would bring her over sometimes when she visited her dad. She was the cutest puppy I had ever seen and was so jealous. Well it turned out that the owner wasn't home very much and felt bad that she couldn't give Mazi all the attention she deserved. Our neighbor knew that our dog had just passed away and asked us if we would like to be Mazi's new family. It took some convincing from me and my sister but my parents finally gave in. She has been with us a little over a year now and we couldn't imagine our lives without her.
