Arrival Story:
My husband had just returned from Afghanistan when my kitty's diabetes took a turn for the worse. My parents were keeping Mia, the kitty, with them so she could be monitored by our long time family vet. The day my husband when back to Germany, where he was stationed, my best friend and her fiance took me to the Humane Society. Jennie and Jason had adopted a puppy from the same place a few months earlier. I was hoping for a puppy so I could have someone to play with and train. All the dogs that we saw were full grown and not small. The lady said there was one more puppy but she was in with the kitties. Jennie mentioned that was the kennel Bo, their dog, was when they saw him. At that moment Moxie came hopping to the front of the kennel. I was attached immediately! They said she was a beagle mix. Wrong!!! I rescued a beagle but a hound dog became part of my family!!!!

Moving as a bobble head

So my mommy had the bright idea to get me spayed. Ok fine, but why make me a bobble head?!? I mean isn't removing part of my body bad enough? Then you have to go and put a cone around my head! So not fair. But whatever, I'm sure it's for my own good, or something like that. All I know is once those stitches come out I'm off to the park!

But that's not until Monday. This weekend my sister and I are moving with my mommy. We are getting out own place. Soon daddy will be living there too. I'll have my own room, all the treats I can eat, and all the toys I want... Ok so maybe not completely but it will just be my mommy, daddy, sister, and me. We won't have to share with other people and dogs. I'm excited and so is Marlea. YAY!!!
